F.A.Q.
Q. Why so much emphasis on identity?
Learning our true identity in the kingdom is one of the most important revelations we can experience, and it can only be discovered through relationship with God. Your true identity, who He created you to be, shapes everything - your relationship with yourself, your relationship with others, and most importantly, your relationship with God. It will transform the most extreme state of jealousy, comparison, and competition with others into a deep sense of peace, joy, and confidence in who God created you to be. It releases the need for striving, perfectionism, performance, people-pleasing, perceived inadequacy, and fear of not being enough when you understand God’s promises and plans for you. It results in being less concerned by the approval and opinions of others, while finding freedom in being concerned only by the approval and opinion of God. It shapes the level of intimacy, connection, and the depth of love you can experience for yourself and others when God’s perception of you replaces the inaccurate and insecure identity that’s emerged from the guilt, shame, fear, and regret from your past. It determines the standard of love with which you expect and ultimately accept in your life, and will determine whether you view yourself and your body as one that needs to be condemned, punished, or altered (an inaccurate self-perception that many multi-billion dollar industries profit off of), or with the freedom, peace, and unconditional love that can only be experienced when you realize how God sees you. It negates the concept of failure, hopelessness, or fear of the future when you understand God’s greater and long-term plan for your life, and it gives the lost, the suffering, and the most disempowered, an unshakeable hope for a brighter future. Ultimately, knowing your true identity in Christ has the power to transform everything.
Q. Why so much emphasis on relationship over religion?
A significant reason why I was vehemently opposed to the “truth” being Jesus for the first 35 years of my life, is that I became aware of the extensive hatred, abuse, shame, corruption, manipulation and control that occurred around the world under the guise of “being in service to God”. I would hear the news of those who caused harm or even conducted mass genocide under the name of Jesus Christ. I was made aware of people preaching the gospel from a pulpit on Sundays yet abusive to their wives and families and living a double life the other 6 days a week. I witnessed people spewing hateful and venomous rhetoric at those who were lost, broken, or who didn’t yet understand the true nature of God, while simultaneously and conveniently forgetting Jesus’ instructions to love our neighbour (and our enemy) as He did. I refused to believe in a God or a form of religion that seemed - to me - hateful, condemning, unloving, and one rooted in guilt, shame and fear. But shortly after I experienced my life-altering encounter with Jesus - a moment in time in which I was consumed with a depth of love that I had never before experienced and more than I ever dreamt was possible, (the type of love that could heal decades of self-hatred and self-loathing in an instant) I began to grieve at how many lost, broken, or suffering individuals had turned away from the concept of God, ultimately depriving themselves of the most fulfilling, awe-inspiring, and cherishing relationship that we were created to experience because of those who spewed hateful, violent, and abusive rhetoric in the name of Jesus (people who - I’m convinced - don’t actually know Him). What I have learned is that the bible, without relationship with God, is simply religious rules. He came to call out those that spoke the words of scripture, yet lacked the love, the humility, the character, the selfless service, and the reverential love and fear of God to match. Every sermon, small group, worship song, and church service is meant to lead us into deeper relationship with God. Not only is that available to us all, but our souls will long for that relationship until it is found.
Q. What makes working with me unique?
Many clients have shared that our work together is one of the safest and most judgement-free spaces that they had ever encountered. So much so, many of them often feel safe enough to share their deepest, darkest and (according to them) most shameful secrets that even their closest loved ones don’t know; the very secrets they would have once preferred to take to their grave because they falsely believed that no one would ever accept or love them if the truth of who they are, was known. Ironically, it’s those very thoughts, secrets, and choices from our past that lead to the crippling bondage of guilt and shame, and are holding us hostage in our own minds. The truth will set you free. I was introduced to the power of that principle long before I ever believed Jesus was real. But it takes an unconditionally loving, psychologically safe, and judgement-free space for many of us to find the courage to bring dark parts from our past or present into the light, and a firm, loving, and capable hand that is willing to speak truth into your life without turning a blind eye to the parts of you that need healing.
I combine my experience as a life and leadership coach for the past decade, my ministry school education, and my deep and reverential love and respect for the Word of God to help you to deepen your relationship with the One who created you and to discover and walk out your true identity in Christ. I have a ruthless desire to see every human experience the freedom, joy, and liberation that comes from an intimate relationship with God, and to experience that transformation that occurs when one becomes acutely aware of the influence we have, the authority we carry, and the inheritance we possess as beloved sons and daughters of the Most High God.
I’m here to help those that feel lost, the ones who are searching, the ones who have been hurt, shamed, or shunned by religion. I’m here for the ones who were never told, who misunderstood, or who have never seen the goodness of God because of those who modelled hatred, abuse, and corruption under His name. I’m here to help those who are acutely aware that something significant is missing from their existence, a missing void that only the One who created them could ever fill, but they feel lost, confused, and uncertain with where and how to begin. I’m here to support those that want to believe… they just don’t know how.
I am all-too familiar with the weight of guilt and shame that leads to self-hatred, I am acutely aware of the pain, grief, and sense of hopeless that comes from seeking but never finding; the existential wondering and aimless wandering in search for greater meaning and purpose. I have experienced my fair share of self-condemnation, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and an anger at whatever version of god I believed in at the time because of how different I felt, or that I didn’t belong. Because of those years of immense suffering, isolation, and a lost sense of identity, I have a deep sense of empathy and compassion for those who feel lost and lack meaning, joy, purpose, or peace in their lives. I learned the answer to everything was always, is always, and will always, be God, and I made a commitment to Him that I would spend the rest of my life teaching others about His unfailing goodness, His wildly incomprehensible love for us, and to help others discover, deepen, and protect the most important, most fulfilling, and the most awe-inspiring relationship we were created to experience.
Q. What results can I expect?
I can’t tell you how the Holy Spirit is going to move in your life as you embark on this journey, but what I can tell you is that God goes to where He’s wanted, and when we invite Him in, He comes. Those who knock the door will be opened. Those who seek shall find. Something powerful occurs when we make a commitment to discovering and deepening our relationship with God. While I can’t give specifics because each individual’s journey is unique and different based on what they are contending for and how God is moving in their lives, feel free to browse my client testimonial page to learn about their experience.

Q. Who is this for:
’m here to help those that feel lost, the ones who are searching, the ones who have been hurt, shamed, or shunned by religion. I’m here for the ones who were never told, who misunderstood, or who have yet to see the goodness of God because of those who modelled hatred, violence, corruption, and abuse under the guise of “being in service to Jesus”. I’m here to help those who are in search for greater meaning, significance, and the ever-elusive state of joy that has always felt just out of reach, and for those who feel helpless, hopeless, or disappointed with how life has unfolded. My work exists for those who have grown stagnant or complacent in their walk with God, and for those who are acutely aware that something significant is missing from their existence, but they feel lost, confused, and uncertain with where and how to begin. I’m here for those that want to believe… they just don’t know how. If that’s you, then welcome. I’m deeply grateful and honoured that you’re here.
Q. Who is this not for:
Anyone who is vehemently opposed or resistant to Jesus Christ being the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We (and my approach to coaching) will not be a good fit if you’re hoping to prove me wrong. You will be barking up the wrong tree if that is your intent. I know and have seen too much to deny the existence of God. If you find yourself adamantly opposed to believing, yet something inside of you is stirring and pulling you to learn more, I’d encourage you to dive into my free and ever-growing resource library or sign up for my free weekly newsletter, Ruthless Tuesdays.
You can come in uncertain, you can come in hopeful yet with little faith, you can come in believing in God but uncertain of what form He takes, but this program and everything I do and teach comes from my unwavering faith and my unshakeable belief in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What I do know is that God shows up where He’s wanted, and even faith the size of a mustard seed is enough to begin this journey (my life is living proof).
My guarantee to you:
While I don’t know how the Holy Spirit will move in your life during our time together, what I do know, is that God is good, God is faithful, and God has been pursuing you long before you ever thought to pursue Him. You may presently be uncertain, unbelieving, and untrusting, but if - for whatever reason - there is something inside of you (call it your spirit, soul, a deep longing, etc.) pulling you to my work, then I encourage you to reach out. I offer a free 30-minute info session to see if we are aligned and to determine whether or not it’s a good fit move forward. If we both choose to proceed, my guarantee is that if - after the first month you aren’t satisfied with your investment - I will immediately stop all future payments and refund you the unused portion of your coaching fees.
